Rebecca Leonard has a love of building meaningful impact that has driven her 30-year career in corporate citizenship and communications. In addition to her consulting practice, she is an Executive Advisor and Teaching Fellow at the Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship, a thought leadership center in the Carroll School of Management.
For 25 years, she held leadership roles at Fortune 500 companies and drove various ESG-related programs and initiatives. Before corporate roles, she worked in communications agencies on top brands such as Frito-Lay, Universal Entertainment, and AT&T. She has earned credentials from the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) in addition to her education at Loyola University (economics) and Harvard University (corporate sustainability innovation). She also taught integrated communications at Suffolk University at the Master's level.
Her passion for positive change extends into the community, where she advises local and international non-profits. She also speaks at universities and conferences and has shared her perspective in media outlets such as USA Today, Forbes, Newsweek, Brandweek, and others.
